Katie's Concerts Unplugged

Just a week later, and they are at it again!!

An enthusiastic audience of around 90 people filled the upstairs room at The Carnival to see performers Dan James, Melissa Cook, Tom Darwood, Lisa McWilliam, and Phil Collingwood perform their favourite acoustic songs, both new and old.

The singers were accompanied by Stephanie Cook on the piano, Mark Robinson on Guitar, Chris Cade on drums, and Dale Jeffrey on Bass (and by themselves in the cases of Dan, Tom and Phil!!)

Guitarist and singer Dan James provided a comic tone to the evening with his side-splitting versions of Bill Bailey's comic tunes, as well as performing more 'serious' numbers which went down equally well.

Lisa McWilliam headlined the night, finishing off the evening with hits by Dido, No Doubt, and Eva Cassidy, before being joined on stage by Emma Lee and Melissa Cook for a rousing finale performance of the Beatles Classic 'Let it Be'.

Thanks to sponsors: The Carnival.
