Open Mic Night

Katie's Concerts take over the Carnival's Open Mic Night to promote their next event.

This free promotional evening of music included music by artists old and new; performed by a mixed bag of musicians-some Katie's Concerts regulars, some eager audience members-to a crowd of around 60 people.

Melissa Cook and Tom Darwood opened the evening at 9pm, with a few old favourites (Fields of Gold etc...) followed by Emma Lee, accompanied by her brother Tom, and Lisa McWilliam, accompanied by guitarist Mark Robinson.

Music included the much-loved Eva Cassidy, Dido, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morrissette, No Doubt, Radiohead, David Gray and many many more.

Later in the evening, Carnival regulars Laurie Collingwood and Missing Time took to the stage.

Thank you to everyone who came along on the night; as always, your support is greatly appreciated, as are your generous donations!

Our thanks go to:
Katie's Concerts Performers: Melissa Cook, Emma Lee, Lisa McWilliam, Tom Darwood, Mark Robinson.
Sound equipment and engineering: by Adam Kelly.
